THE STORY:

Drawing from African proverbs and idioms, Sarah Nsikak borrows romance folkloric imagery from the many cultures she calls home. For Hayom she made unique challah covers using a 'appliqué' technique and mixing her own visual imagery and style with Jewish symbols.
