Kiddush Cup | Hayom x Atelier George

STORY:
For Hayom, Atelier George handmade a kiddush cup from vine leaf imprint, captured in molten glass. Poured upon the plant, the matter encapsulates the shape and phantom of the natural element. From the dry leafs, frozen by fire, emerge solid glass forms that will become the plate onto which is standing the cup of wine we use for the kiddush prayer. The vine leaf passes from one world to another, from vegetable to mineral, from fleeting to immutable.

Cup: approx 5" x 3" (2,5 cm high and a 7,5 cm diameter)
Plate:  diameter of approx 6" (15 cm) and thickness of approx 1" (2,5 cm)

CARE:
Wash with cold water or with a dishwasher cycle if it's under 40°C.
