Mezuzah | Hayom x Addam Yekutieli
Addam Yekutieli is one of the most renown Israeli contemporary artists. In his visual language, branches and tree stumps are a metaphor and an echo to the human body; its wounds and its ephemerality but more importantly its ability to heal and adapt, to overcome its losses. Addam’s handmade mezuzoth are made out of branches that he has carved to become a safe vessel for the holy parchment and then tied together.
